Short Biography

Yusuke Tominari is a Co-founder and CEO of Azuriris, Inc. and manages the entire projects and strategy. He is a serial entrepreneur and also founded FIMECS, Inc in 2018 as a spin out biotech from Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited with his colleagues. He led the company as CEO and achieved Exit through M&A in 2024. He started his career of medicinal chemist at Takeda in 2006 after getting a Ph.D. at the University of Tokyo in Japan. Through his 19 years of pharmaceutical experience, he has been mainly working on immunology and oncology areas. In the last ten years, he has been worked in focused on new class of drugs, targeted protein degrader for the previously undruggable targets. He believes that his company can contribute the generation of many life-saving drugs.
