Short Biography

He Zhou, Ph.D., has more than 20 years of experience in preclinical/clinical drug development. She serves as the COO and SVP of Pharmacology，Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development at Polymed Biopharmaceuticals. Previously, she served as group leader in Oncology Pharmacology at Momenta Pharmaceuticals (a wholly-owned US subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson), Executive Director of Oncology Pharmacology at Shanghai ChemPartner, Senior Director of Clinical Biomarker at BeiGene and VP & China General Manager at HiFiBiO Therapeutics. She led multiple preclinical R&D programs and served as one of the core members progressing 5 drug candidates (polysaccharides, small molecules, and biologics) from discovery to IND and clinical development. She also participated in multiple Phase I–III clinical trials both in China and in the U.S. and contributed to 3 approved drugs. She obtained Bachelor of Medicine and Master of Immunology from Peking University Health Science Center, Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and received Postdoctoral training in Immuno-oncology at The Scripps Research Institute. She has over 40 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and holds 6 granted U.S. or global patents.
