Short Biography

Wenmin Chen, Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Shandong University, Postdoc. of University of Michigan School of Pharmacy, and Specialist of Laboratory Research of Roger Cancer Center. She has been awarded the title of national and Beijing talent, and is one of the 100 elite returnees in China by Forbes in 2024. As the R&D executive director of Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd., she has established an internationally leading protein degradation targeted chimera (PROTAC) integrated drug discovery platform, integrating medicinal chemistry, drug evaluation and formulation synthesis process in One-site. The platform has a new E3 ubiquitin ligase ligand library with independent intellectual property rights, and has supported dozens of drug discovery studies covering the fields of immunity, tumors and metabolic diseases, and is responsible for advancing multiple projects to the IND stage.
