Short Biography

Bin He, Ph.D. in Natural Medicinal Chemistry from Sichuan University, Postdoc. of Département of Chemistry and Chemical Biology of Cornell University, and Broad Institute. Currently, he serves as Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at Guizhou Medical University, Expert with Special Allowance from the State Council, Core Member of the Engineering Research Center for Development and Application of Ethnic Medicines and Traditional Chinese Medicines (Ministry of Education), High-level Innovative Talent of Guizhou Province, and Head of the Provincial Targeted Drug Innovation Team. As corresponding/first author, he has published over 40 papers in authoritative journals including J. Am. Chem. Soc. and J. Med. Chem., and holds over 10 authorized Chinese patents. He has received honors such as First Prize of Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education, First Prize of Natural Science Award of Guizhou Province, and Guizhou Youth Science and Technology Award, and was selected into the province's "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talent Plan". He concurrently serves as Standing Director of multiple pharmaceutical societies, project review expert, journal editorial board member and reviewer. He led the establishment of a multi-disciplinary drug discovery platform, created a proprietary TCM active molecular library, and identified several promising lead compounds with development potential.
