Short Biography
Dr. Chaowei Ren has dedicated nearly eight years to the field of protein degradation, boasting profound academic expertise and industrial experience. He earned his Ph.D. from ShanghaiTech University, where he conducted research on the mechanisms of protein degraders. During his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago, he focused on post-translational modifications.
In Gluetacs Therapeutics, he is responsible for novel substrate discovery. He successfully identified over 20 new molecular glue targets, advancing the development of first-in-class drugs and driving preclinical research toward clinical translation.
