    Short Biography

    Dr. Wang is currently a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and PI for Intelligent Healthcare at the Intelligent Information Technology Research Center of Nantong University. Holding a Ph.D. in Intelligent Information Systems (Natural Language Processing) and postdoctoral training in Basic Medicine, with visiting scholar experience in Bioinformatics, he has built a robust "AI + Medicine" interdisciplinary knowledge system. He leads national-level research projects, national oncology big data industrialization initiatives, and pharmaceutical company data analytics projects, publishing over 40 SCI papers as first/corresponding author in core drug discovery and intelligent healthcare areas. His research focuses on "AI-empowered drug discovery lifecycle," specializing in leveraging language models to integrate target discovery, drug design/generation, clinical trials, and post-market real-world studies. Technically, he excels in language model architecture, multi-omics and multimodal data analysis, and precisely adapting complex algorithms to medical contexts; in application, he targets oncology, infectious diseases, and Alzheimer's disease with self-developed databases, predictive models, and tools; translationally, he efficiently bridges the pathway from lab models to clinical candidates, establishing comprehensive closed-loop capabilities spanning AI algorithm development, biomedical mechanism elucidation, and drug development translation for clinical application.
