Short Biography

Dr. Li Yongguo is currently the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of Guangzhou JOYO Pharma, where he is fully responsible for advancing innovative drug development programs. He leads a dynamic team focused on Clinical Research & Development, committed to advancing innovative drugs in various disease fields from preclinical to late clinical stages and NDA to the market. JOYO Pharma pipeline covers infectious diseases, oncology, autoimmune, and metabolic disorders, with eight new molecules currently undergoing clinical trials. Dr. Li previously served as Senior Vice President of Hua Medicine, Director of CMC Department at Roche R&D (China) Ltd., a senior management team (SMT) member of the Roche R&D center, and a lecturer at China Pharmaceutical University. He has 26 years of experience in innovative drug research and development in pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions, with comprehensive involvement in multiple innovative drug preclinical and clinical development etc.
