Short Biography

Dr. Qidi Kong received his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He brings nearly a decade of experience in early-stage discovery and preclinical development of small molecule innovative drugs in the fields of anti-tumor and anti-infective agents, as well as expertise in  technology transfer and commercialization. He currently serves as the Co-founder and CEO of Zhiben Pharma. Since co-founding Zhiben Pharma in 2021, he has led the completion of IND-enabling studies and regulatory submissions for multiple clinical candidate compounds, including a pan-AR molecular glue degrader with first-in-class potential.
