Short Biography

Dr. Li Yongguo is the Co-founder of Guangzhou JOYO Pharma, where he was fully responsible for advancing innovative drug development programs in various disease fields from preclinical to late clinical stages and NDA to the market. JOYO Pharma pipeline covers infectious diseases, oncology, and autoimmune etc. with seven new molecules currently undergoing clinical trials. Dr. Li previously served as Senior Vice President of Hua Medicine, Director of CMC Department at Roche R&D (China) Ltd., a senior management team (SMT) member of the Roche R&D center, and a lecturer at China Pharmaceutical University. He has 26 years of experience in innovative drug research and development in pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions, with comprehensive involvement in multiple innovative drug preclinical and clinical development etc.
