Short Biography

Dr. Fuyao Zhang: Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Served as a lecturer and associate professor in the Department of Polymer Science at Zhejiang University. Conducted studies at RWTH Aachen University in Germany and Harvard University in the United States. Formerly worked as a scientist, senior scientist, and principal scientist at Eli Lilly and Company in the United States. Served as General Manager of Shanghai Unitris Bioscience Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu Hengrui) and co-founder and General Manager of Shanghai Selection Bioscience Co., Ltd. Founded Shanghai Best-Link Bioscience Co., Ltd. in 2021, serving as its founder, Chairman, and CEO.

Dr. Zhang is a distinguished expert appointed under Shanghai High-Level Talent Program, Jiangsu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Program, and Jiangxi Innovation Team Program. Served as a visiting professor at Zhejiang University, Sun Yat-sen University, East China Normal University, and Hong Kong Baptist University. Received awards such as the Outstanding Scientist Award for Minorities in the United States. Dr. Zhang is the inventor of the marketed new drug Tenofovir Amibufenamide and the designer and inventor of manufacturing processes for multiple marketed new drugs and complex generic drugs.
