Keimyung University
Short Biography
Dr. Park is an Assistant Professor in the College of Pharmacy at Keimyung University, Republic of Korea. His research focuses on medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, and induced-proximity pharmacology, with particular interests in targeted protein degradation, phosphorylation-targeting therapeutics, and next-generation proximity-induced modalities.
Prior to joining Keimyung University, he trained for six years in the laboratory of Dr. Jian Jin at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he contributed to the development of multiple degrader and induced-proximity platforms. His research has led to more than 75 peer-reviewed publications, including articles in Nature Chemical Biology, Nature Reviews Cancer, Science Translational Medicine, Nature Cell Biology, Nucleic Acids Research, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, and Advanced Science.
His current research aims to expand the scope of induced-proximity pharmacology beyond conventional PROTAC technology by developing novel therapeutic modalities such as Bridged PROTAC and PhosTAC, enabling selective modulation of previously inaccessible protein functions and signaling pathways.
