Presentation Topic: Discovery and development of next generation anti-cancer drugs targeting synthetic lethality
Synthetic lethality has been employed for anti-cancer drug development for precision oncology. PARP inhibitors are the first type of anti-cancer drugs that have been developed based on synthetic lethality. However, PARP inhibitors face clinical limitations as significant side effects, poor patient tolerance, and development of drug resistance. Consequently, biopharmaceutical companies are actively developing next-generation anti-cancer drugs targeting synthetic lethal, such as with ATR inhibitors and PRMT5 inhibitors. Danatlas Pharmceuticals has focused on discovering novel synthetic lethal targets and developing next-generation anti-cancer drugs targeting synthetic lethal. Our pipeline prioritizes first-in-class (FIC) or best-in-class (BIC) candidates, with multiple synthetic lethal target programs already in or approaching clinical stages. Early data demonstrate best-in-class potential for these candidates. While committed to advancing our own next-generation synthetic lethal drug development, we are also looking forward to collaborative opportunities with pharmaceutical partners to accelerate pipeline development through combination of expertise from both sides. Our ultimate goal is to deliver innovative treatments to patients as soon as possible.
