Short Biography

Dr. Xuan Wang is currently employed at Alphama Biotechnology Co., Ltd., where she leads chemical development and manages external collaborations. Previously, she was an associate investigator at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica. Dr. Wang has authored nearly 30 scientific publications and holds several patent applications, including one granted patent. She earned her Ph.D. from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry.

DNA-encoded library technology (DELT) has emerged as a transformative platform for the identification of bioactive compounds through high-throughput screening. By coupling chemical structures with unique DNA barcodes, DELT enables the construction and interrogation of vast chemical spaces in a time- and cost-efficient manner. Over the past 30 years, the chemical diversity of DNA-encoded libraries (DELs) has expanded to include small molecules, macrocyclic peptides, molecular glues, covalent inhibitors, and more. Several candidate molecules identified through DELT have advanced to clinical studies.
