Short Biography
Professor, Doctoral supervisor, recipient of the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Distinguished Young Scholar Fund, Distinguished Professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). From 2002 to 2003, he was funded by the Humboldt Foundation to conduct postdoctoral research at the University of Dusseldorf in Germany. In 2004, he was selected into the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talent Training Program. In 2005 Selected for the Jilin Province Innovation Talent Project. In 2010, awarded the title of "Outstanding Middle-aged and Young Professional and Technical Talent with Outstanding Contributions in Jilin Province". In 2011, selected as a Senior Expert in Jilin Province. Main research contians bionic functional materials and biomedical materials. More than 300 SCI research papers have been published in Chem. Review, Chem. Soc. Review, JACS, Angew Chem. He has presided over and undertaken multiple national-level projects, including the National 863 Program and the Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has won one first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Jilin Province (ranked first) and one first prize of the Natural Science Academic Achievement Award of Jilin Province (ranked first). He serves as the vice president of the Nanoenzyme Branch of the Chinese Society of Biophysics and a member of the Chemical Biology Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, a member of the Biomedical Polymer Materials Branch of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, Director of the Zhejiang Materials Research Society, and appointed Editorial Board Members of Small Science, Journal of Biomaterials and Nanobitechnology, General Chemistry, Polymer Sciences, Acta Chimica Sinica of Higher Education Institutions and other journals.
